Delft Career Days

Delft Career Days (DCD) is the largest technical career event for jobs, internships and graduation projects of the Benelux. Every year ‘De Delftse Bedrijvendagen’ offers a great start for the careers of over 3300 students. Furthermore the event is a great opportunity for students to approach a company for an internship or a graduation project. Events

Board

Delft Career Days (DCD) originates from two separate career events: ‘De Bedrijvendagen Delft’ and ‘Bedrijvencarré’. These events where organized by different study associations of the TU Delft. Several companies then recommended to merge these events into one large event, which was done in 1995 resulting in Delft Career Days. The associations that organise it now form ‘Het Pentagon’. Apart from ‘Gezelschap Leeghwater’ ‘Het Pentagon’ consists of the ‘Technologische Gezelschap’ (Chemical Technology), ‘Vereniging voor Technische Physica’ (Applied Physics), ‘V.S.V. Leonardo da Vinci’ (Aerospace Engineering) and ‘W.I.S.V. Christiaan Huygens’ (Mathematics and Computer Science). One board member of every association takes place in the board of Delft Career Days, meaning that they take place in two boards at the same time.

Promotion & Information Team

The Promotion & Information Team (PIT) supports the board of Delft Career Days with organising everything. They help by taking care of promotional gadgets, the information leaflet containing all companies and by supporting them throughout the entire event. PIT consists of one member of every association of ‘Het Pentagon’, just like the board of Delft Career Days. This year Nick Martherus represents ‘Gezelschap Leeghwater’ in PIT.
