After 153 years Gezelschap Leeghwater has finally asked her first female Member of Honour. Last year prof. dr. J. Dankelman has participated in the career breakfast, during which she shared her inspiring story with our students. She showed a great deal of enthousiasm to help our students, which is why we really wanted to bind her to our association.
With prof. Hellendoorn and her very own son involved in the plot, prof. Dankelman was surprised with a scavenger hunt. At the final location the Board of Gezelschap Leeghwater awaited her to officially ask her as Member of Honour. We are happy to announce prof. Dankelman was positively surprised and is now our newest Member of Honour, which we celebrated with a glass of champagne and a piece of cake
