Case Kaizen Institute

This exercise simulates the management and improvement of a production process in a seatbelt retractor manufacturing plant. Participants will apply Lean and Kaizen methodologies to analyse the production flow, identify waste, and optimize operational efficiency. The activity will take place in a dynamic and participative environment, encouraging teamwork and collaborative decision-making. Throughout the session, participants will work in teams to map the value stream (Value Stream Mapping) of the process, identifying each stage, the information and material flows, as well as the associated times.
